THE RMC WINTER SERIES STARTS IN CREMONA

Cremona Preview

The stage is set at the Cremona Circuit for the highly anticipated first round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Series.

Approximately 200 drivers will battle it out on the Lombardy-based track, competing across categories including Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2, and DD2 Masters. The Senior MAX remains the most competitive and populated category with 86 registered drivers, followed by 44 in Junior MAX, 34 in Mini MAX, and 30 across DD2 and DD2 Masters. Participants hail from all over the world, underscoring the event’s global prestige, organized by Rotax Karting and WSK Promotion.

Choosing a new venue like the Cremona Circuit, one of four debut tracks in the RMC Winter Series-RMC Euro Trophy calendar, highlights the organizer’s commitment to expanding the series within the European market. The circuit, part of a larger motorsport complex that includes international car and motorcycle racing facilities, stretches about 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles) and features a technical layout with 16 challenging corners and fast straights, promising a dynamic and thrilling race experience. It is already a favored destination for national and international karting events.

Uncertainty reigns across all categories: with new faces and returning competitors, the Cremona race promises to be a thrilling, unpredictable event and will serve as a key indicator of the balance of power for the rest of the season.

The RMC Winter Series replaces the traditional Winter Cup on the European RMC calendar and, instead of a single event, will span two rounds. Following Cremona, the series will move to the Circuito Internazionale Viterbo on the weekend of March 30.

Plenty of prizes are up for grabs: Free Entry for the 2025 RMCET will be awarded to the winners of each category. Free Entry for 2 rounds will go to the runners-up in all categories. Free Entry to the RMC International Trophy (including race tires) will be granted to third-place finishers in all categories.

After the second round, drivers who have participated in both events will be automatically entered into a raffle to win 1 free ticket to the 2025 RMCIT (including race tires), with one ticket available per category.

On Sunday, February 16, the Pre-finals and Finals will be broadcasted live on TV through Live Streaming on Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy's Facebook page, RMCET website, Motorsport.com, and YouTube platforms:
