The first official numbers are in from Prokart Raceland in Wackersdorf, where the 2025 edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy has officially begun.
A total of 239 verified drivers are set to compete in the opening round of the championship, battling for victory and early leadership across the five racing categories. Up for grabs as well is the first ticket to the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals, awarded to the winner of the German Cup by Mini MAX.
The most crowded category is Senior MAX, which opens the season with a strong showing of 101 verified drivers — the first “triple-digit” entry of the year. Junior MAX follows with 61 participants. DD2 and DD2 Masters will run together as a combined class, featuring a total of 34 drivers: 29 in DD2 and 5 in DD2 Masters.
Mini MAX, racing under the banner of the “German Cup by Mini MAX,” records 43 verified drivers.
