A full day of racing unfolded at Karting Genk – The Home of Champions, host of the third round of the 2025 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy.

With 16 heats completed across the categories, Saturday brought consistent action and plenty of drama; particularly in Senior MAX, which ran six tightly exciting races.

Friday saw Alfie Mair (SFR Motorsport) set the benchmark in qualifying, with Lucien Smith (KR Sport) and Oliver Spencer (SP Motorsport) close behind. The trio also claimed the first heat wins of the weekend.

On Saturday, however, it was Spencer who rose to the top of the standings after a strong run of results, taking the lead after heats. Smith remained solid in second, while Mik Klinkers (Bouvin Power) moved up to third. A bumper penalty cost Mair a spot in the top five.

Jacob Ashcroft (Dan Holland Racing) continued his perfect qualifying streak, taking his third consecutive pole on Friday. He followed up with a clean sweep in all heats, confirming his dominant form.

Behind him, Kai Clarke (KR Sport) impressed with a major recovery from P17 in qualifying to second overall, while Rory Armstrong (Dan Holland Racing) secured third place.

The fierce duel between Macauley Bishop (Dan Holland Racing) and Sean Butcher (KR Sport) carried into Genk, but it was Butcher who shone on Saturday. The KR Sport driver delivered a series of strong results and now sits first after heats.

Teammate Omar Ghannoum, who scored two wins on Friday, joins him on the front row. Behind them, Yort and Ties van Wijk posted solid heat performances to claim third and fourth respectively. A rough Heat A-C hurt Bishop’s chances, dropping him to ninth overall.

Enzo Bol (SP Motorsport) continued to show his strength around Genk. After taking pole on Friday, he added a win and a second-place finish on Saturday to stay on top. William Kristensen (RS Competition) sits second overall, while Mika van De Pavert (SP Motorsport) is the only driver to have beaten Bol so far and he’s currently 3rd.

In DD2 Masters, Nicolas Picot (Privateer) extended his unbeaten record in the class. Another clean drive on Saturday confirms his status as the favourite heading into finals day.

On Sunday, June 29, the Pre-finals and Finals will be broadcasted live on TV through Live Streaming on Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy's Facebook page, RMCET website, Motorsport.com, and YouTube platforms.

Schedule: June 29: from 08:30 AM Warm-up; from 10:00 AM Prefinals, from 1.00 PM Finals.
